October has arrived and I always say this is the time for boating. Cooler temps for just cruising around and enjoying your favorite lakes and looking at the fall foliage to start taking place.
It is also the time of year that the S&J Racing and Marine annual Fun/Poker run takes place on Lake Whitney, Texas. This year will be October 13th. Its really a great time for boating and fellowship with great friends before the holidays start approaching and the colder temps setting in. Its a really laid back run to just relax and cruise around the lake after a very hectic summer. As always its nice to have our returning sponsors onboard along with the local marinas to help with this. Without them it wouldn't be possible! But one of my favorite parts is the fish fry our great friend and client's, Trey Haggard puts on after the run.
We are also very excited to be driving and sponsoring a boat in the Parker Enduro this year, October 27th in Parker, Arizona on the Colorado River. Its a very exciting race with pit stops and driver changes. We will be running in the division 1 class in a flatbottom.
So with all that being said we look forward to hopefully seeing everyone at the fun run this year for a great time, great fellowship, and great food!
